Chia Plant

Cha cha cha chia. That is how many of us were introduced to this seriously important crop that has its roots in Western South America, Western Mexico, Central America, and the Southwest US. Our favorite use for this crop is simply mixing it with water to make a gelatinous drink that will hydrate and empower you throughout the day. We received seeds of this variety from Joseph Lofthouse in Paradise, Utah. It did great in our soils last year.
