Rosin weed is an important native plant for many types of animals and insects. Growing 6-7 feet tall this sunflower relative looks great blooming from mid-summer to fall. Very tough, growing in rocky, clay, and very well-drained soils. An important perennial fodder for livestock- this plant is being investigated at The Land Institute in Kansas as an oilseed crop.
