Come join us at Red Beet Row for a wild foods adventure and tasting! We will guide you through the major summer fruits of the region as you tour the gardens at Red Beet Row. Fruits, nuts, roots, herbs and greens will be on display.  Proper Identification will be addressed in detail.  At the end enjoy a wild foods tasting.  John has prepared several sampler dishes and bubbly drinks to try.

Heres the planned menu:
Fermented bubbly drinks of mugwort and sumac
Acorn grits and venison with mountain mint pesto
Nettle gnocchi with garlic spicebush butter
Black raspberry acorn bakewell tarts

(We will reschedule w/registrants if weather is bad. Dress to be outside the whole time you are with us. Please check the weather. )
