More Education

More opportunities for education are all over North East Ohio! And beyond!

Reeds & Roots Skillshare! Annual community gathering, sharing sustainable living skills, and growing a regional network. Taught by volunteers, organized by volunteers – Join us!

Local food AND local knowledge can be found at Harbor Gardens on Bridge Street, Ashtabula. Red Beet Row products are for sale here, as well as those of our farmer friends. Support local, and learn how to cook healthy awesome meals!

Be sure to check out the herbalism and self-reliance classes offered at the Trillium Center in Conneaut, OH

Lynn Zukowski offers herbal medicine, herbal advice, AND herbal classes at her store in Willoughby. Check out Blue Lake Botanicals!

And if you are in Cleveland, take herbalism classes at Earth. Wisdom. Wellness. Also a source for local herbs, medicine, and community.

Another one for east-side Clevelanders. Make your own home repairs. Take a home repair class in Cleveland Heights at the Home Repair Resource Center!

Don King, the Mushroom Hunter, is in Kent. He teaches classes in the region on how to hunt for wild mushrooms. Check out his website for more mushroom education!

And if you are all the way down south, check out the Whippoorwill Festival – in Kentucky! Red Beet Row farmers used to live in KY and still help organize this event every year. It’s a great opportunity for education! The inspiration for the Reeds & Roots Skillshare
