Long-lived gnarly beet aka swiss chard.  Grown for its tasty leaves AND roots. This selection comes from Telsing Andrews from Ontario, Canada . She has been selecting these plants for perennial (2-3 years) traits in zone 5. The plant veining is white, roots white and yummy.
