Agroecology Education Farm
Price range: $15.00 through $35.00
John is excited to share several tasty dishes he makes using wild roots he has brought into the garden bed. As staple carbohydrates, perennial root crops are key for establishing resilient food gardens. Plus many of these roots are native and/or do not spike the blood sugar. Learn about skirret, sunchokes, ground nuts, parsnips, and more. John will show you where the plants grow and how to cultivate them. He will have several yummy dishes to try, and he will send you home with roots to plant to get your own crops started!
