Meadow Arnica Plant
Medicinal flower used by herbalists as a pain killer. External use only, this plant is toxic taken internally. Helps numb and de-inflate painful areas. Plant medicine is made with the fresh flowers only, dried flowers have lost their medicine. This is a perennial in our climate. It loves to grow here. Very small plant, makes a great ground cover around other things. The flowers are short-lived too – they only last a few weeks in the summer.  Make a tincture with the flowers when they are immediately picked, use high proof alcohol – watch it turn yellow!
