Native nitrogen fixing vining perennial bean with wild populations in northeast Ohio. This plant is very closely related to Lima beans and could be used in a breeding project to create a perennial bean. I’m most concerned with a good location to help individuals to overwinter as this plant is probably averse to wet, heavy, soils. Seeds came from Prairie Moon Nursery,
